Today’s people at the beginning of the 21st century are growing up in a world that is almost unimaginable without technology. Data mining, the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0. The domination of mechanization is currently dominated by the domination of digitalization. How far does man thus alienate himself from his trait, his existence? Would he still be able to acquire a life without the self-evident of a washing machine, central heating or everytime availability of food. So i decided to search for this knowledge and i talked to people, which experienced a time before. They learned the necessary skills, such as slaughtering, gardening or stuffing socks.
This treasure of knowledge is slowly fading and the number of people who are able to report on this is diminishing – so let’s take the chance and talk to the wise people in the retirement homes and try it yourself:
